Taking flight: The class members learn about the basics of aerodynamics after they enter a model airplane contest. The fun really begins when Ms. Frizzle shrinks herself and some of the students so they can actually fly their own model airplane. When the remote control breaks, Ms. Frizzle and her students must quickly figure out how to fly the plane themselves. In an effort to rescue their teacher and airborne classmates, the kids on the ground must turn the magic school bus into a plane so they can fly up and perform a rescue operation.

Getting energized: When the electricity for the ferris wheel fails, Ms. Frizzle's class learns about different kinds of energy as they work to get the ferris wheel moving.

Out of this world: After Dorothy Ann sees an asteroid on a crash course toward their school, the class blasts into space. They discover comets and meteors- but will they be able to divert the asteroid and save the day?

Ups and downs: Is there a monster living in Walker Lake? That's what Ms. Frizzle's class is trying to find out, but the bus won't dive under the water. The class has to figure out how to turn their floater into a sinker. Take a dive with the Magic school bus, and learn why things float and sink.

In a beehive: Ms. Frizzle and her class shrink down to explore a beehive after Tim's bike crashes while he's delivering jars of honey.

In the Arctic: Come along with Ms. Frizzle's class to the Arctic Circle as they learn it's not just about getting warm, but finding a way to keep the heat you have.
