Description
In Greece, the journey begins on the Peloponnesian Peninsula and follows a scenic route that winds through the mountains and picturesque villages of southern Greece. The journey continues to Athens, and then north past Mount Olympus to Thessaloniki. In Portugal, the journey goes along the banks of the River Douru, Portugal's major river and the heart of its port-wine-producing region, to Oporto. In Spain, the journey goes through the heart of Moorish Spain. Beginning in Madrid, the journey continues to Seville and to Granada. In Tunisia, the journey begins in Tunis and proceeds to Soussse, El Jem, Sfax, and finally to Gabes.
