Description
An enemy of the people: In Riverton, Maine, circa 1893, Dr. Thomas Stockman wants to disclose that the town's moneymaking health spa "Clearwater Springs" has been fouled by pollution from a tannery. But his proposal to go public is opposed by his brother Peter, the town mayor, who prompts a wave of public outrage against Dr. Stockman and his family.
Description
The wild duck: A family with a proximity to each other belies the decay of their relationships. When Gregors Werle comes to stay with the Ekdals, his idealist nature refuses to tolerate the dreamworld of lies the family is living. However, in his bid to force the Ekdals to see the truth, the skeletons he unearths destroy the family that he wanted to redeem.
