Little Bear's four adventures include taking a trip to the moon and having a birthday party.

Emmett wants a pig very badly, but he lives in a city apartment. Emmett, a city boy, loves pigs, and for his birthday he and his mother and father take a special trip to the country, where a surprise awaits him.

Anxious to see what life is like outside the zoo, Sammy the seal explores the city, goes to school, and plays with the children but decides that there really is no place like home.

Little Bear makes friends with a little girl named Emily and with their friends, duck, cat, owl and hen, they play through the summer. Grades 1-2.
