Get free access to Rosetta Stone Library Solution, an award-winning technology-based language learning platform. Rosetta Stone offers language and literacy tools to build your reading, writing, speaking and literacy skills. Available for 24 world languages, its activities will help you refine grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

  • Phrasebooks that provide you with a crash course in speaking a new language before upcoming travel
  • An audio companion that enables on-the-go users to practice pronunciation, vocabulary, phrases, speaking and conversation

To access Rosetta Stone Library Solution you will need to create an account using your email address. If you are outside the library, you will also need your library card number. 

The Washoe County Library also offers Mango Languages for language learning.

Mobile App instructions

To use the Rosetta Stone app on your mobile device, you must first create your account and/or log in through a web browser.

Google Play            Download on the App Store

  • First download and install the app, using one of the links above.
  • Do not launch the app once installed.
  • Open the web browser on your mobile device and navigate to the Rosetta Stone login page.
  • On the login screen, enter your library card number.
  • On the next screen enter your email, password, and the language you wish to learn.
  • Click Sign In.
  • From the landing page, click Launch Rosetta Stone Foundations.
  • The learning program will now launch automatically from the Rosetta Stone mobile app.

This resource requires a library card to use it.
