Kelly is a clown in the 'Circus'; a Marine in 'Ring Around the Rosy'; and Sinbad in 'Sinbad the Sailor'. Summer stock: Romance blooms during the summer in New England when Jane Falbury's sister shows up with a theatrical troupe and convinces her to let them stage a musical in the barn. On the town: Sailors Gabie, Chip, and Ozzie have a 24-hour leave in New York. Chip wants to sightsee, but the only sights Gabie and Ozzie are interested in are of the female variety.
