Description
Follows the experiences of Heaven, one of the very poor Casteel children who are sold to different families by their father; as she travels to Boston to begin a new life with her grandparents, Heaven Leigh Casteel is still haunted by the dark secrets of her past and obsessed with her father, Thomas Luke Casteel; the recent marriage of Heaven and Logan is threatened by the guile of Tony Tatterton and by the ghosts of Heaven's past; Heaven's daughter Annie longs for her lost family after she becomes orphaned and crippled and taken off to Farthinggale Manor; when Leigh VanVoreen escapes from Farthinggale Manor, she falls into the arms of Luke Casteel, who is the only one who knows her deepest secret.
